Hot tub, wood-burning stove and forest as far as the eye can see.
Your refuge in the heart of the Vosges.
Anould — Meurthe Valley — 20 min from Gérardmer
A modern refuge for 4 to 6 people, nestled in the heart of the Vosges forest
Imagine a house in the woods. No neighbors, no noise, no notifications — just the firs, the crackling of the wood stove and time slowing down. Chalet Aïko is exactly that: a modern refuge nestled in a verdant setting in Anould, at the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park.
In the morning, breakfast facing the firs. In the afternoon, a hike along the Route des Crêtes or lounging on the terrace. In the evening, you can't decide between a game of Monopoly by the fireplace, a fondue with friends, an evening around the fire pit or a hot tub bath under the stars.
You feel like you're at the end of the world — with all the comforts.
Aïko is our red-haired Eurasier, which looks remarkably like the foxes you meet in these forests. He's the one who made us fall in love with this place, running between the firs and rolling in the snow.
Your four-legged companions are welcome — there's plenty of space for them to enjoy themselves as much as you.
Everything you need for a perfect stay
No neighbors, surrounded by firs — you only see the forest. Board games by the wood stove, evenings under the firs, sleeping in without an alarm.
Dive into hot water outdoors, facing the forest. In winter under the snow, in summer under the stars — an unforgettable moment.

Gérardmer, La Bresse and Lac Blanc within reach. Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking at Lac Blanc — everything is close.
Aïko gave her name to the chalet. Your four-legged companions are welcome — forest and trails for miles for them to run around.
